David Meckler is a Highland Park, IL, native who is currently playing for the Los Angeles
Kings. He was drafted in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft in the 5th round. He has played for
Yale University of the ECAC and the London Knights of the OHL. He has spent the last
three seasons playing for the AHL affiliate of the Kings, the Manchester Monarchs. He
has had three impressive seasons there, and during his last season, he was able to help
the Monarchs to the AHL’s Eastern Conference Finals.
