With world-class credentials in three different sports, Curtis has an impressive and varied athletic history. Curtis played 11
years professionally in both the NHL and the WHA and followed his hockey career as a triathlete completing the 1985 Ironman
Triathalon in Hawaii. In 1987, Curtis sailed for Canada in America's Cup in Perth, Australia, closing out his athletic career.
Curtis understands the value of converging performance and technology and the impact a multidisciplinary team has in any
area of performance, an outlook reinforced by his time as a research associate at the Australian Institute of Sport. He has
built profiles and created customized strategies for coaches and players in both athletic and corporate arenas, which has
earned Curtis credentials as a development coach with elite organizations such as the NHL, NCAA, (hockey) USA World
Judo, Bobsled/Canada/Skeleton .
